Profiles and handles
A Birdfeet profile is deliberately small: a handle, a name, a short bio and your posts. No follower-count games, no engagement bait.

What are the handle rules?
Handles use 3 to 20 lowercase letters, numbers or underscores, and must be unique. Yours can change at any time.
How do I change my display name or bio?
Open your profile, choose Edit profile and save. Your name updates on your existing posts straight away.
Can I follow someone back?
Yes. Every profile has a Follow button, and People shows the newest members with the same control.
What do the numbers on a profile mean?
Posts, followers and following. They count real activity only, nothing is inflated or seeded.
Can I upload a profile photo?
Not yet. Profiles use a coloured monogram based on your name, so they still look intentional without an upload.
Was this category the right bird?
These three are close by if the answer was not here.
Still stuck?
Send a short description of what happened, what you expected and which page you were on. A person will answer.
