Verified badge
The Birdfeet verified badge.
Eight requirements, one application, six days of waiting. Then the badge sits next to your name on the website and in the desktop app.

What the badge means
You showed up, posted, replied and stuck around. Birdy checks the eight boxes below, you apply, and six days later the badge is yours. It follows your account, so the desktop app shows it too.
The eight requirements
- 01500 followers
- 029 replies sent to other birds
- 0310 posts written by you
- 04A profile photo
- 05A bio of at least 40 characters
- 06An account that is 7 days old
- 07Membership in at least one group
- 08Following at least 5 people
Requirements are checked from your real activity, not from what you say about it. If a box goes backwards, for example someone unfollows you, the application waits until it is back.
What being in unlocks
Host livestreams
Start a live room with a live chat that everyone can join while you are on air.
Verified badge
The badge sits next to your name on your profile, your posts and your replies.
Your rooms are listed
Verified streams appear on the Live page the moment you go live.
A profile people trust
The badge tells new birds the account is real, so groups and replies land better.
Perks are tied to the account, so they work the same in the browser and in the desktop app. Livestreams are live now at the Live page.
How the six days work
Applying is instant. After that the badge is in review for six days, then it appears on its own. There is no email to chase and no form to sign again.
The badge is stored on your account, so the feed, your profile, replies and the desktop app all read the same flag. Nothing extra to install.
